VOSS Quick Connect System 275^VDA connects thermal management lines in accordance with the VDA standard

The quick connect system combines a low insertion force of less than 50 newtons with a robust and durable design. Its compact construction and system-specific connection profile make installation easy, even in limited spaces. Particularly in modern vehicle architectures, where cooling systems must be integrated into compact spaces, this helps reduce assembly effort and increase design flexibility. Pressure-loss-optimized variants support efficient media flow. This allows for the efficient design of cooling circuits and minimizes energy losses in the system. The connector is designed for operating pressures of 2 bar and a temperature range of -40 °C to +125 °C. Nominal sizes ranging from NW6 to NW32, in accordance with SAE J3207, are available; other sizes are available upon request.

Assembly Reliability and Functional Integration

The quick connect system 275^VDA is optionally available with a connection indicator function. After successful connection, a clear locking indication is displayed, while the required insertion force is further reduced. This supports error-free mass production and can reduce rework and quality-related costs. In addition, 3D Data Matrix or QR codes can be integrated for digital identification and traceability. This provides manufacturers with end-to-end traceability of individual components throughout the entire product lifecycle. Depending on the application, the quick connect system can be directly combined with other components, such as valves or sensors. This makes it possible to consolidate additional functions into compact spaces, reduce the number of interfaces, and implement customer-specific thermal management solutions. Integrating multiple functions into a single assembly can reduce the number of individual components, simplify assembly processes, and make the overall system more efficient.

The VOSS quick connect system 275^VDA is suitable for thermal management systems in passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, as well as in trucks and buses. It complements the existing VOSS portfolio of line and connection systems for the liquid cooling of modern vehicle and battery systems. In this way, VOSS supports vehicle manufacturers in developing scalable thermal management solutions for various vehicle architectures and powertrain concepts.
