The Battery Show Europe/Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo 2026

VOSS Automotive showcases innovative fluid management solutions for the automotive industry and energy supply

From June 9 to 11, 2026, Europe’s leading trade fair for battery technology, “The Battery Show,” along with the concurrently held “Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo (EVTech)” focusing on system technologies for electromobility, will present the latest market innovations in Stuttgart. As a system supplier of forward-looking fluid management solutions, VOSS Automotive will showcase its new products for the next generations of vehicles in the automotive industry as well as for battery energy storage systems.

Wipperfürth, April 2026 – In times of rising energy prices, the focus is once again shifting to alternative drive technologies. For electric and hybrid vehicles to become a long-term alternative, a well-designed thermal management concept - such as the optimal temperature control of lithium-ion batteries to improve performance - is essential. With many years of engineering experience in thermal management, VOSS Automotive develops system solutions for all types of drive systems as a reliable partner to the automotive industry. At the trade fair, VOSS experts will present their wide range of technologies to an international professional audience through personal exchange – from battery electric vehicles (BEV) and plug-in hybrids to emission-optimized gasoline and diesel drives. The stationary storage of energy for industry is also a current topic, which VOSS is helping to shape with customized system solutions for liquid cooling.

Thermal management: More than just battery temperature control

One focus is on thermal management in battery electric vehicles. This field is increasingly evolving from the simple temperature control of individual components toward a holistic system approach. To further leverage these potentials, new cooling concepts are coming into focus that go beyond conventional solutions.

Immersion cooling is considered the next stage in battery thermal management development: by completely surrounding the cells with a non-conductive cooling fluid, it ensures uniform temperature, higher performance, and increased safety. At the same time, the technology places high demands on sealing, material selection, and assembly. VOSS Automotive addresses these challenges with electrically conductive, robust, and recyclable connector systems that reduce weight, simplify assembly even in limited installation spaces, and enhance operational safety. In addition to established cooling concepts, inter-cell cooling is also gaining importance. In this approach, the cooling medium is routed directly between the battery cells, which places high demands on flexible, leak-tight connection solutions. VOSS Automotive develops assembly-friendly connection elements that reliably compensate for tolerances and thermal expansion while ensuring consistent sealing. In this way, inter-cell cooling meaningfully complements the existing battery thermal management portfolio.

Cooled high-voltage charging harness: A game changer for e-mobility

With the cooled high-voltage charging harness from VOSS, Amphenol-Tuchel, and the GG Group, vision becomes reality. The innovative charging cable enables power levels of more than 1 megawatt, allowing charging times of under five minutes. Thanks to integrated cooling directly within the harness, high charging currents can be transmitted safely. At the same time, the components are lighter, require less installation space, and offer greater flexibility than comparable products. This represents a decisive step toward ultra-fast charging and improved everyday usability of e-mobility.

BESS: Storing energy efficiently, securing the future

For battery energy storage systems (BESS), VOSS Automotive has specifically adapted its proven line and connection solutions. These container-based systems are used for the efficient storage and flexible provision of energy for a wide range of applications. To ensure that battery cells operate permanently within their optimal temperature range, VOSS has developed a special line concept featuring a vent valve and an integrated dual-sided shut-off valve that reliably prevents coolant leakage when individual battery modules are removed.

Error-free assembly with ClickID

To ensure the quality of connector systems, VOSS Automotive has developed the AI-based wearable “ClickID.” It supports reliable verification of the assembly process for connections with an audible click signal. In the event of assembly errors, “ClickID” enables immediate correction, eliminates the need for rework, and thus reduces productivity losses. Visitors can experience how this works in practice live at the booth.

“We are pleased to once again be represented at this pioneering event this year. Whether high-performance thermal management for all drive types, ultra-fast charging, or safe and efficient solutions for stationary energy storage - our system solutions demonstrate how technological innovations can make a concrete contribution to the mobility and energy transition. Our goal is to make complexity manageable and to bring powerful, sustainable systems into series production instead of individual components,” says Andreas Suhr, Product Manager at VOSS Automotive.

Visitors can find out more about the latest products from VOSS Automotive and see them in action in Hall 4 at Booth 4-E30. In addition to the thermal management solutions mentioned, line and connection technologies for active chassis systems, SCR, water injection, air suspension, and windshield washer systems will also be presented at the booth.
