Exhibition Review - Vehicivle development in transition: VOSS presents system solutions für tomorrow´s mobility
From October 27 to 29, 2026, VOSS Automotive will present innovative fluid management systems for thermal management, SCR, air suspension, and active suspensions at the International Supplier Fair (IZB) in Wolfsburg. The focus will be on forward-looking technologies that support the transformation of mobility and enable efficient solutions for various powertrain concepts.
Wipperfürth, October 7, 2026 – The automotive industry is undergoing a profound transformation. Electric powertrains, high-performance battery systems, and software-controlled vehicle functions are fundamentally changing the requirements for development and design. Components are increasingly viewed as part of a networked overall system. Wiring and connection systems have long since taken on more than just the role of routing media. They play a decisive role in efficiently distributing energy, reliably regulating temperatures, and ensuring the long-term safe operation of complex vehicle systems.
At the 2026 International Supplier Fair, VOSS Automotive will demonstrate how these requirements can be efficiently met using intelligent system solutions. The company’s exhibition will focus on customized concepts for the thermal management of modern battery systems, solutions for air suspension and active suspension systems, as well as innovative system solutions for other automotive applications.
Thermal management is becoming a key success factor
With each new generation of vehicles, the performance and energy density of modern battery systems increase. At the same time, precise temperature control is becoming increasingly important. Only within an optimal temperature range can batteries deliver their full performance, fast charging speeds, and long service life.
VOSS develops line and connection systems as well as valve solutions that are specifically designed for modern cooling circuits and can be flexibly integrated into various vehicle designs. “The mobility of the future is not created by individual components, but by the intelligent interaction of many systems. Our task is to develop reliable solutions for this that can be seamlessly integrated into modern vehicle architectures,” says Jörg Schormann, Passenger Car Account Manager at VOSS Automotive. This results in thermal management solutions that support both technical performance and cost-effective implementation.
Modern suspensions pose new challenges
Suspension systems are also evolving rapidly. Air suspension, as well as semi-active and fully active suspension systems, improve ride comfort, safety, and driving dynamics. At the same time, the demands on line and connection technology are increasing. These systems must remain permanently leak-free, withstand high loads, and be reliably integrated even in confined spaces. At the IZB, VOSS is presenting solutions for air suspension and suspension systems that are specifically designed to meet these requirements. Robust materials, high process reliability, and assembly-friendly designs help vehicle manufacturers implement modern suspension architectures cost-effectively.
New applications for intelligent fluid management
Intelligent fluid management is also gaining importance outside of vehicles. In battery energy storage systems (BESS) as well as in data center liquid cooling (DCLC), cooling fluids must be routed efficiently, safely, and without leaks over the long term. At IZB, VOSS Automotive will demonstrate how its decades of expertise in fluid management can be applied to these stationary applications. For this, the company offers scalable piping and connection solutions for high-performance battery storage systems and liquid-cooled IT infrastructures.
In addition, VOSS is introducing ClickID, an AI-powered assistance system for comprehensive monitoring during the manual assembly of connectors. The wearable device supports the user with real-time feedback, digitally documents the assembly process, and thus contributes to higher process quality, fewer assembly errors, and complete traceability. With this, VOSS underscores the trend toward intelligent, data-driven manufacturing solutions.
Visit VOSS at IZB 2026
Throughout the exhibition, VOSS experts will be available for informal discussions and one-on-one technical consultations on thermal management, air suspension, active suspension systems, and modern piping and connection systems. At the booth in Hall 4, Booth 4312, interested media representatives and trade visitors will have the opportunity to engage in personal discussions with the VOSS team. The trade show also offers the chance to discuss current developments with VOSS specialists and examine specific real-world applications.
