Water Injection by VOSS

With the quick connect system 241^N, VOSS is dramatically expanding the possibilities of using connections in AdBlue^®, cooling water and thermal management systems according to SAE J2044. It differs from the original version of the quick connect system 241 not only in the new design for the opening mechanism.

Lines in SCR systems must be heated because frozen AdBlue^® does not work. It is important that not only the line itself but also the connection point is heated. The electrically heated version of the VOSS quick connect system 241 ^N is the best solution for line systems designed for connections according to SAE J2044.

AdBlue^® in fluid form is a prerequisite for the function of the SCR catalytic converter and therefore for the reduction of nitrogen oxides from the exhaust gas of diesel vehicles. Because AdBlue ^® freezes below -11 °C, the line in which it is carried in the vehicle must be heated. The electrical heating of this line is the proven solution, especially in passenger car applications.
