VOSS Donation Campaigns and Christmas Party: Helping Together and Coming Together
The Christmas season is a special time when we come closer together and focus on what truly matters. At VOSS, the end of 2025 was therefore all about togetherness. With great commitment and heartfelt dedication, our employees took part in several donation campaigns. The festive highlight of the year was a thoroughly successful Christmas party.
“Christmas Elves” Campaign: Bringing Smiles to Children’s Faces
Since 2017, VOSS employees have been taking on gift sponsorships as part of the “Christmas Elves” campaign, supporting children and young people with special needs. In 2025, the personal Christmas wishes of more than 180 young people were fulfilled once again. The lovingly wrapped gifts were donated to the children’s home in Volmarstein, the “Kinderinsel” pediatric intensive care unit at Siegen Children’s Hospital, and the Wipperfürth-based association Noh Bieneen e.V., which supports people with special needs.
Ugly Christmas Sweater Day: The More Outrageous, the Better!
Under the motto “The more outrageous, the better!”, things got colorful at VOSS on December 10. During the traditional Ugly Christmas Sweater Day, the management donated €10 for every employee who wore an original Christmas sweater. Sparkling gingerbread men, flashing reindeer, and kitschy elves turned the workplace into a cheerful runway of festive fashion for a day.
A total of 258 colleagues took part, raising €2,580 for a good cause. Together with additional donations from the Christmas Elves campaign, a total of €4,000 was collected and donated equally to Haus PaNaMa and the WippKids initiative. Both organizations do valuable work for children, young people, and young families in the region.
Charity at the Christmas Party
The Christmas party was not only a time to celebrate but also an opportunity to continue supporting good causes. Around 850 VOSS employees came together to celebrate a successful year in 2025. During a charity game, 536 participants raised €2,015, which was doubled by the management. In total, €4,030 was donated to DLRG Wipperfürth, Tafel Wipperfürth, and the Clinic Clowns.
Alongside the charitable activities, there was plenty of fun to be had: a live band, a DJ, and the men’s choir “Laut aber schief” created an energetic atmosphere, ensuring that this Christmas party will be remembered for a long time.
Engagement That Connects
The Christmas initiatives demonstrated what VOSS stands for: taking responsibility together, spreading joy, and living a strong sense of community.
We would like to thank all employees for their outstanding commitment and are already looking forward to the next activities we will share together.
