VOSS Automotive announces Dr. Christian Amsel as Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Wipperfürth, 15. Dezember 2025 – The system partner for comprehensive fluid management solutions is delighted to welcome Dr. Christian Amsel as the new CTO at VOSS Automotive with immediate effect. With his many years of experience in the automotive industry, he will play a key role in driving forward the technological development and innovation strategy of this medium-sized company.
The graduate electrical engineer has over 22 years of experience in the automotive and lighting technology industry. His previous positions include senior roles at renowned suppliers such as Hella, Inalfa Roof Systems, and Kongsberg Automotive. Most recently, Dr. Amsel served as Chief Technology Officer, where he was responsible for global technology developments and strategic realignments. In this role, he gained extensive international experience in markets such as China, Korea, India, Scandinavia, and North America. His technical focus includes systems for electric and hybrid vehicles, including battery management systems and high-performance DC/DC converters. He also has proven expertise in fluid management for vehicles with combustion, electric, and hybrid drives.

A particular focus will be on expanding our expertise in mechatronic products such as sensors and actuators/valves. In addition to our AI-based wearable ClickID, which enables error-free assembly processes, we plan to introduce further smart products in order to consistently drive forward digitalization and networking in industry. In addition, we are striving to expand our expertise as a system integrator and are pushing ahead with diversification into other fields of application," explains Dr. Christian Amsel.
