Wipperfürth, April 25, 2025 – Once again this year, VOSS honored its long-serving employees with a festive event. Around 400 guests gathered at the Alte Drahtzieherei, including VOSS retirees and anniversary celebrants, to celebrate the impressive total of 1,380 years of company service by 48 employees.

VOSS as a Constant: The Bridge Between Tradition and Loyalty

While many companies relocate their production sites out of Germany, the VOSS headquarters have remained unchanged in Wipperfürth for over 90 years, playing a central role in the local economy with around 1,200 jobs at the location. In addition, the traditional company strengthens its connection to the local community through a variety of projects and events. This stability is highly valued by many VOSS employees, some of whom are celebrating their 25th or 40th company anniversaries this year. In a time when frequent employer changes are common, VOSS supports many employees in their development and offers career paths within the company.

To honor the loyalty of the anniversary celebrants, VOSS celebrates its employees’ service every year. The management personally congratulated and honored all jubilees, presenting them with a certificate from the Cologne Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK). A special award, the Hermann-Voss Memorial Silver Medal, was given to employees who have been with the company for 40 years.

In addition to honoring the jubilees, the event provided insights into VOSS’s current business situation and encouraged social interaction among participants. Many amusing anecdotes from the company’s history were shared in a relaxed atmosphere.

A rich buffet and musical entertainment by a DJ created a lively atmosphere and rounded off the successful 46th anniversary and senior meeting.
